  July 4, 2009 - I'll start off by saying that the cork disintegrated as I was opening the bottle. That kind of set me up for a bad experience. But I think that since the wine is young helped make it drinkable after having a rotten cork. Not the greatest wine I've had. It was my first Vinho Verde. Reminded me of a lightly carbonated club soda with lemon or other citrus. Not a lot of flavor. I could see it being refreshing on a hot day, as the 4th was. I don't know how this stacks up to other Vinho Verdes, so I'll have to try some more.
