  March 27, 2024 - This is really delicious. As we expect from South Africa very distinct aromas and flavors. We have tree bark, eucalyptus, cedar, pine and hot hot road asphalt. Full bodied. Deep purple color. Sandalwood and charcoal. Precise tannins. It’s now about 5 years off the vine so the integration and maturity just raise things a little. Nice balance with the oak, alcohol and acid. Solid, long satisfying finish with an evergreen influence or the plum, cherry and blackberry fruit.
