  March 31, 2024 - Served at Easter with ham. Deep color almost like a claret. Peppery start and more tartness than expected. Occasional tastes of earth/umami, but not as much as I would prefer. Very nice, long finish. Solid wine but, for the price point, leaves a little to be desired.
