  April 6, 2024 - Dark garnet. A big, powerful wine. Lots of leather, initially some barnyard and VA that blows off quickly, earthy, dark fruited, blood/ferrous, iodine, complex. Palate is full bodied and muscular with very little finesse. Dark fruited with young powerful tannins. This could be a little too much too much for some, it definitely needs some food paired with it. But I like it.
