  April 11, 2024 - This seems like a typical O7 CdP to me. Dark ruby color, medium opacity (not clear, not opaque). It has a very rich sweet kirsch liqueur nose. Some forest floor, though the fruit is the dominant smell. A bit hot on the nose, and also somewhat stony. Black licorice, sweet fruit, medium body, pleasing long finish with no bite. Tannins are fine and sweet.
  Overall a very nice wine. Drink now or within a few years I think. It might be interesting to save one for another 10 years.
