  April 13, 2024 - Dark reddish-purple garnet in color. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, cassis & plums with earthy/dusty & herbal overtones, floral notes, spices, minerals, & a slight hint of cedar in the background. Medium bodied with a good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, blueberries & mulberries with herbs, minerals, spices & a hint of vanilla/oak. Lingering finish. Quite accessible at present with decanting & extended airing but should develop further with additional aging. Very good QPR as it delivers quite well at its price point.
