April 16, 2024 - Tasted blind in a flight of six Iberian wines.
Dusty with some red and dark fruit on the nose. Modest. Fresh acidity.
Feels like it’s in between phases. I would wait 5-10 years for this one because right now it’s a bit disappointing. Easy to pick as a Rioja.5 people found this helpful 7,849 views

4/19/24, 9:30 PM - Interesting... there's been one more comment since that seems to echo the same thing. I also had one of these last summer and thought it drank marvelously. Was looking forward to opening another this weekend for my birthday, but you (@Sebastian80) seem to be implying that its evolution is not linear? That it was good, but now not so much, yet it should/will be again in the near future (if I'm understanding you correctly)?

4/21/24, 1:32 PM - Just heard from my friend who kept the leftover from the bottle. It was apparently stunning 4 days later. So, decant ahead of time or open the day before.
