April 14, 2024 - As with the Cos, this was drinking better than the bottle I had in ‘21. Very Ducru, lots of structure and noticeable but still reticent fruit. But drinking better than I would have anticipated for the limited decant time this probably saw.
We did this quasi blind, just picking which wine was the ‘04 Ducru and ‘04 Cos, knowing it would be one of the two. It was an easy pick for me. And a great effort in a not so great vintage. Drinking well but should continue to improve.

4/26/24, 9:57 PM - I was a bit disappointed with my last bottle, an '03. It was a 93, but I expected and felt it should have been better than that.
