April 25, 2024 - Pretty good for a Canuck red wine. Not certain how they achieved 14.8% abv, but it's quite good, and it's a reasonable $47 CAD.
Likely a couple of years in a cellar for softening, or an hour decant would be beneficial. But, not really necessary, as the only benefit will be to soften the tannins, but enhanced characteristics? I'm thinking not.
A single vineyard located in Naramata.
Almost desert conditions, sndy soil, hot in summer days and cooler nights.

It's nice and as much as I'd like to support the Canadian economy, I'll be buying a $47 Merlot from California, Washington State, Bordeaux.
