April 26, 2024 - Medium gold color. Med(+) aromas of dried mango, honey, passion fruit, kumquat, lemon, oyster shell, salinity. A bit of peach, vanilla, butter, yogurt and biscuit. Med(-) body, dry, med(+) acidity, med alcohol, med(+) finish. Matured with dried fruits and honey. The wine is balanced but it lacks intensity and tension. Decent but uninspiring especially given the price. Drink now. 83

Day2: more citrus fruits upfront and tertiary notes are somehow much less noticeable. Tastes more like a typical Burgundy stylistically and secondary aromas are better integrated. I drank at much lower serving temperature this time and that might have helped. This makes me think the wine might have more years ahead, but I don’t think it needs time either. 85+
