April 26, 2024 - My first Cayuse Tempranillo. Purchased at auction, but most likely very well stored. Shared this with my wine group and it was the WOTN. Opened but not decanted for over an hour before serving. On the nose, a definite funk (as others have mentioned), it reminded me of many Chateneuf de Papas that I have had. But it tasted very different than its nose. Complex, with notes of spices and a long finish on the palate. I may be shorting this a point. It was my first Cayuse Tempranillo.
