  Very earthy. After an hour of air the fruit starts to poke through, but still dominated by earth and spices. Bright acidity, supple tannins and a long finish. Enjoyable right now, especially with food, but definitely one for the cellar.
  
  Light ruby colour.
  
  Pronounced aromas of smoke, struck match, barnyard, black tea, dark cherry, cranberry, strawberry, clove, all spice, peat moss, lavender.
  
  Pronounced palate.
  
  Medium body, high acidity, low tannin, long finish.
