  April 28, 2024 - Deep, dark garnet in color. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, blueberries & plums with overtones of floral notes of violets & earthy/dusty, tobacco, dried herbs, cocoa, spices, tar, minerals & cedar in the background. Medium-full bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe dark fruit flavors of cherries, blackberries & plums with spices, herbs, anise, cocoa, minerals & toasted oak/vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks well at present with decanting & extended airing (90 min.+) but should develop further with additional aging.
