  August 2, 2009 - We tried this bottle as a Sommelier suggestion in Boa steakhouse in Vegas. Perhaps it was the excellent beef and great setting, all in the table enjoyed this wine greatly. Too bad it was their last bottle of this wine.
  
  It's probably one of the strongest wines I've tasted at 14.8° alcohol, but it manages to come out balanced despite all that booze. Strong leather/bell pepper taste with tobacco hinted on the smell. I probably wouldn't pair this wine with more subtle cooking, but it was perfect for a medium-rare Rib eye on the bone.
