  August 8, 2009 - Initial nose of cherries with a whiff of alcohol. Luckily the alcohol receded after about half an hour from opening. Much the same on the palate with some mouth drying astringency at first. This also receded after some time in the glass but never fully went away. Not a lot of complexity at this stage but smooth and quite tasty.
