  August 7, 2009 - Foie Gras, Cheese and Sauternes (Ser Yee's Place): Another bottle, again very impressive for its price. Funky earth notes, sour cherries, sandy earth, mineral and meat on the nose. On the palate, lovely velvety tannins, pure sweetish cherries, spice and juicy freshness. Simple, but it was lively, well balanced, well structured with good concentration, great integration and a nice focused feel moving into a shortish, but satisfying finish.
