  October 15, 2009 - Dark purple in the glass. Lovely fresh lift on the nose, with black cherries and a smatter of sweet spice. There is a slightly funky, feral backdrop. Light to medium bodied palate, straightforward and inoffensive. A little muddled perhaps, with so many varietals vying for attention, but well produced and good value at this price point.
