  October 25, 2009 - Matched with a wild mushroom bisque, this wine paired perfectly, showing damp earth, tree bark, all of the aged Bendo aromas...nicely balanced on the palate, medium weight, balanced acidity, and persistent finish. The wine is in no danger of going over the hill, but I'm not sure it will get any better. A lovely pairing.
