  October 27, 2009 - Gave this as a gift for a dinner party. Host opened after dinner was over. Deep purple (teeth staining); fruity nose of blackberries, black currants, maybe some smoke; fruity up front and very smooth on the finish. A wonderful wine. Still plenty of room to age.
