  October 30, 2009 - Deep ruby in the glass. Very fresh nose, heavily dominated with young oak, but with a very pure, precise background of ripe red currants and other red fruits. Cutting through it all there is a vegetal note which I am a little unsure of. Fabulous tannins, certainly under-ripe at the moment, initially a restrained bitterness but following through an effusive, sweet, rolling finish of excellent length. Excellent potential, provided everything integrates as it should.
