  November 10, 2009 - Garnet-red. A good presence of oak and terroir, big fruit lies right behind with notes of charcuterie, persimmon, and cassia. On the palate the high percentage of Carignan is perceptible and gorgeous. Clean fruit, aggressive acid and warm tannins, this child needs a year or two (or some aeration) in bottle before he becomes more playful. There is a nice play of eucalyptus and white pepper on the pronounced finish. Great value!
