  December 7, 2009 - Very good: classic St. Julien, with cedar, cigar box on the nose, along with cassis. Resolved and smooth on the palate, though lacking the ripe fruit of a more exuberant vintage. Still, enjoyed this very much. Near peak for me, though will certainly hold at this level for quite a while.
