  December 8, 2009 - Dark red with some brickish coloring to the edge. Dark fruits on the nose initially, but the nose dropped off quite quickly. More of the same on the palate. Not quite at the stewed fruit stage, but getting there. The fruits are supported by some herbiness that is pleasant. There's still enough acidity in the wine to make it pleasurable to drink. If you have any left, I'd probably drink soon, but there is still acidity to preserve it for a while longer.
