  December 9, 2009 - Dark purpley-black in color. Nose of stewed fruit--plums and raisins. More of the same on the palate also with some mocha. There's actually a surprising bit of acidity on the back of the palate, so while this probably ought to be drunk sooner rather than later, as long as one doesn't mind the older fruit profile, it's still nice.
