  December 19, 2009 - PnP. Ruby red. Medium low intensity aromas of dark cherry, red berries, funk, herby/stems and spice. Got the sense that his is holding back (i.e., more to come). Palate enters with focused medium intensity fruit, a little edgy tannin and consistently pleasant acidity from beginning to end. Medium complexity and some finesse. I was struck by the texture being so different from the sweet fleshy Siduris (also this week), leaning towards a more taut platform that allowed the spice, earth, herbs to express in the midpalate and finish. Still, the Tiger Woods in me slightly preferred the Keefer this week, but this has upside.
