  January 16, 2010 - I was looking forward to trying this, have had Dalla valle's in the past and have been pleased, but this was bit disappointing, there are simply too many wines out there for less then $50 that are much better then this particular vintage from Dalla Valle. I think this is another case of a 1997 fading quickly after the 10 year mark. I haven't had a really nice 1997 since the BV Georges Latour about 2 1/2 years ago.
