  January 17, 2010 - Jewel purple. Smoky nose as before. complex. I have added a point. This is just nice. The finish just tightens and the fruit is squeezed out. Bright cherries & strawberries. Needs time but will mellow into a real complex wine, just a bit in your face right now. This is really best with a bit of food, the acid is pretty tight and explodes with some nibbles.
