January 19, 2010 - This is a big wine, showing all the characteristics of a Barossa Valley Shiraz. A deep darp purple colour displaying blueberry and sweet spice on the nose with just a hint of vanilla, on the palate this wine bursts with dark fruit and a smoothness which is suprising considering its youth, alcohol not too promonent considering its 15.5% content and nice tannic structure, all the elements there for cellaring. This wine is good now but I think it will be very good in 5 to 10 years.
