January 23, 2010 - Color: dusty dark (brown) ruby, but still light and somewhat seethrough
Nose: initially: warm brick, moist wood, autumn leaves after heavy rain, forest ground, but never heavy, always light. A bit closed.
Once developed in glass: a bit of lemon pepper, rust, chocolate and chlorofile.
Taste: initially: quite sour, tannins, but no character. Not impressive...
As it developed in glass: pepper, citrus, berries, more tannins than initial, acidity became more balanced and refreshing.
Finish: as it developed, more refreshing, medium finish, slightly peppery and tannins.
Overall: needs time to develop, nothing exciting, normal average wine, not so temperamental. Not very exciting, but drinkable.2,095 views
