January 18, 2010 - Pale straw colour. Complex, deeply aromatic nose of guava, passionfruit and peaches, but not in an overly sweet way - this is still crisp and quite zesty and even a little mineral. Lovely!

Surprisingly rich, heavy (languid) and sweet on the 'attack'; almost syrupy fruit, with pleasant but not-quite-syrupy sweetness. This has quite bit of heft for a SB; substantial body and mouthfeel. Less tropical and less complex on the palate; peaches foremost, with slightly bitter lemon and lime pith and zest. Oddly, unpleasantly bitter from these last two on the start of the finish. The finish is shockingly long, very crisp, dry, and beautifully mineral. A wine with a lot of beautiful features but that doesn't quite come together optimally.
