  February 10, 2010 - Big and bold nose. Huge fruit. Woody but bright. Let it decant, and the wood goes away, and the brightness fades into a more mellow, jammy fruit. Color is lipstick red, with some maroon, but clear and clean looking. Good acidity, and a wonderful finish. Leaves the mouth full of strawberry, dried apple, no cream, nothing weird. Very good.
