  February 15, 2010 - Pristine cork with zero seepage. Did not decant. I had been saving this bottle to enjoy with BBQ and it did not disapoint. Purple and red fruits, no offensive oak or alcohol, some spice, chocolate, and a hint of dark tobacco. Very smooth on the palate with sweet, integrated tannins, currant, and a touch of acidity. The finish was pleasant with the fruit, tannins, and some mocha notes. Very balanced for this varietal and fantastic quality for the price.
