  February 24, 2010 - Great and simple label that led my curiosity and hopefulness. Wouldn't it be great to find a still available 2002 Bordeaux that did not offend? Poured deep, rich purple with nose hints of coffee, tobacco and straw. Really nice! Tasted licorice and pepper along with an unpleasant acidity. Overall, this was light on fruit and more pepper and wood. I expected more from such a beautiful bottle of St. Julien.
