After decanting, first taste showed a touch of drying fruit..After awhile in glass and especially with the rack of lamb, the fruit came alive. It was now showing dried cherries with a bit of plum. With the food, the wine totally fattened up and fleshed out....all aspects of the dry, astringent quality were gone.
