  March 4, 2010 - Popped and poured, initially. The nose showed a strong floral garden and and was promising. The early tastes showed a tight, tannin monster (with less fruit than what the nose predicted) that opened up with each subsequent taste. Big tannins, mocha chocolate and flowers are what I found in tasting this wine. My last glass of this wine was approximately four hours after initially opening it and it showed a more open and inviting taste which tells me next time: DECANT FIRST. Maybe not the best California '05 Cab I've had but, a good wine. I will likely get a couple of more bottles and age.
