  May 22, 2010 - My neighbor's annual wine party seemed like a good time to pop my first bottle.
  
  A nose of sweet blue and purple fruits; a touch of smoke; strong coconut and vanilla notes; not much, if any, heat from the alcohol; nice weight and balance on the palate with good acidity and delicious fruit; the finish lingered nicely and the tannins suggested that this wine has some stuffing to drink well for 2-3 more years. However, I don't believe that this wine will improve much, if at all.
