  May 29, 2010 - Massive wine. Ink dark, totally opaque. Actually a bit tame on the nose, shockingly. Well integrated, but readily apparent, oak. Cigar box and even some roast meats. Thick mouthfeel, heavy, dark fruit, and wild alcohol. Enough acidity to make the overall impression that of a well made wine. Long finish, but so overpowered by the alcohol that the fruit takes a back seat. Delicious, over the top, and a great example of this style of wine if it is your bag.
