  June 5, 2010 - Pop and pour with no decant. Deep violet red color with cassis, mocha and coffee notes on the nose. Fairly ripe fruits throughout with dark currants dominating framed by multi-layered tannins that eventually give your lips and teeth a nice purple hue. There's a nice overall smoothness to this wine and the moderate alcohol (15.2%) is fairly well concealed but does poke through just a touch on the finish. At full retail ($55) I wouldn't purchase this again but fortunately it was on sale for $35, which is a nice price for a well built Napa Cab.
