  June 9, 2010 - This is a big hot wine. Pleasant nose of red cherry and raspberry fruits, spice and some barnyard funk. Palate was more than medium-bodied, perhaps somewhat viscous and I swear there was some lingering effervescence - not sure why - showing jammy black cherry and blackberry fruits, some spice and way too much heat throughout. Maybe I'm missing something, as I wasn't all that impressed by this wine. Perhaps 15% ABV over-extracted Pinots just aren't my thing
