  June 23, 2010 - Tightly wound, playing its cards close to its chest, this begins relatively simply, offering slightly reticent aromas of dark cherry, currant and new oak; some time in the decanter and some vigorous swirling in the glass bring suggestions of sweet plums, purple flowers, and oak spice. Medium bodied on the palate, tightly wound again, with sweet tannins and a round mouthfeel.
