July 6, 2010 - This bottle is in a good drinking place right now. Popped and poured about a third of it and got lots of blue fruit, leather, and smoke that was balanced very well with a good/right amount of acid. Finished the bottle up the next day and it was pretty much in the same place as when I popped and poured it, but did start to pick up subtle white pepper. This wine just sits so nice on the palate. Great wine and a top candidate for QPR of the year.
