  August 7, 2010 - red purple, nose with cherry, currant, cedar, smoke though a touch stewed prunes; initially a bit thin but over an hour or two broadened and gained depth- nice weight, fruit in the mouth with good acid- very good with food- food seemed to cover the wine's less attractive notes, namely the slightly pruny nose on the nose and in the mouth. Will definitely drink the next one soon and with a meal.
