  September 1, 2010 - Deep red color. The faintest of bricking around the edges -- barely noticeable. Haunting nose of tobacco, menthol, blackberries, leather and cherry. I could smell this for hours. Plenty of dark fruit on the palate with some dust. Medium+ acidity. Tannins are completely integrated -- medium mouthfeel. Finish is going on and on and on. Beautifully structured and balanced. This is a gem.
