  September 2, 2010 - dark garnet; clearly pinot with spiced strawberries turning into blackberries with hint of citrus and earthy floor, though laden with caramel, coffee, and even pepper notes- smelled like a big pinot; quite big in the mouth and somewhat one note- though that was a delicious one note. Not as good as '07 IMO but very good wine for price and perhaps will open up a bit more with some time.
