  September 14, 2010 - Opaque, still slightly purple at the rim. Intense spicy nose started with matches, cloves, white pepper, but cleaned and softened with air, gained plum and currant tones and turned into dark berry liqueurish. Complex, very concentrated palate, but keeping everything in balance (if a little bit too spicy yet), with juicy acidity, fruity yet elegant, dark toned, with some minerality underneath. Spicy tannic aftertaste with lingering fruit. Very impressive, I quite liked it even despite highish alcohol.
