  October 6, 2010 - Opened this, immediately poured half the bottle into an empty 375ml and put it back in the cellar. Drank the first half and thought it was a nice wine. Good nose, a bit flabby on the palate with more earth than fruit coming through.
  
  One week later I opened the second 375ml and this thing was bangin'! The fruit on the nose meshed in a bit with the earthy notes and the acidity and tannin smoothed out and were singing on the palate. Great nose, fruity but well balanced in the mouth, and a very silky finish.
