  October 9, 2010 - Deep red color. Fantastic nose of dark red berries, menthol, cassis, lead pencil. Wave after wave of pure blackcurrant, spices, minerals, red licorice and sweet tannins. Very brisk acids gave a brightness to the midpalate, but very well balanced. Then a super long lip smacking finish. Really in a good place right now. Still a lot of life left but if you have a few pop one now. Excellent with the grilled veal chop.
