  October 17, 2010 - Enjoyed on the deck on a cool fall evening with skirt steak and roast potatoes; Rich and full-bodied, but it is all in balance -- the savory notes of bacon, olive, and (yes) green peas, the sweet dark berry fruit, and the silky texture on the midpalate. Now that it has calmed down and come together, this is a better-than-expected food wine.
