  October 31, 2010 - This was decanted and immediately consumed. Dark purple color with great nose of smokey meats, black cherries, very floral and open right from the get go. Very powerful tannins, meaty, peppery, and chock full of dark black fruit. Long powerful finish. This opened and improved greatly as the night wore on, went beautifully withe the lamb shank. This has a long life ahead and I will not touch my remaining bottles for a few years.
