  November 14, 2010 - Dark yellow color with fine bead. My first concern with this wine was the nose, which had a slight sherry aroma and smelled a little like ripe pineapple. Very thick viscous bubbly, quite full bodied, lacking in freshness and somewhat ponderous flavors of caramel, baked apple, and dark honey. This was much more advanced than the last bottle of this I had last year when it was spectacular. Definitely oxidizing and on the downslope, unless this was a bad bottle. Oh well.
